Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Stampsy: Countries Visited Map on iPhone, iPad and Android, this website and related services (together, the “Service”), operated by Stampsy (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. The Service
Stampsy lets you mark the countries you have visited on a world map, collect a passport stamp for each one, track regions and collections, and find past trips from the location and date of your photos. Maps, borders, regions and lists such as UNESCO sites are shown for fun and may not be complete or current.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age the App Store or Google Play sets where you live, to use the Service.
3. Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, keep your sign-in details safe and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
4. Stampsy Pro, billing and refunds
- Lifetime ($29.99) is a one-time purchase. It unlocks Pro for as long as the Service is offered, with no renewals.
- Yearly ($9.99 a year) is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase, and it renews each year unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are billed by Apple or Google under their terms, at the price shown in the app. Prices may vary by country and include any taxes your store applies.
- Manage or cancel the Yearly plan in your store account: on iPhone in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions; on Android in Google Play, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
- Pro is linked to your Stampsy account, so it stays with you when you sign in on a new phone. If Pro ends, your map, stamps and wishlist stay yours.
- We may change prices for new purchases. A change to the Yearly price applies only from your next renewal, after the notice your store gives you.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service against the law, try to break its security, interfere with how it runs, reverse engineer it, or use it to harass anyone or share content you have no right to share. We may restrict access if you do.
6. Your content
Your map, trips, notes and memories stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Our content
The Service, including its design, stamps, mascot and software, belongs to Stampsy or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. Do not copy, modify or distribute it without our permission.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties such as Apple, Google and our hosting provider. We are not responsible for their services or policies.
9. Availability and changes
We may update or change the Service and these Terms. We try to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will always work without interruption. If we make important changes to these Terms, we will tell you in the app. Using the Service after a change means you accept it.
10. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
11. Apple and Google
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. If you got Stampsy from the App Store, Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, is not responsible for any claims about the app, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms. Google Play’s terms also apply when you get Stampsy from Google Play.
12. Ending use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
